Sinkhole closes Cactus Road near 175th Avenue

Traffic to be affected for a week

Posted

Cactus Road is closed just east of 175th Avenue due to a sinkhole in the westbound lane of the roadway.

There is a hard closure of Cactus Road from west of the Legacy Traditional School entrance to 175th Ave; and a soft closure, allowing local traffic only, from the school entrance to the west side of the Cactus Road and Cotton Lane intersection.

The roadway is estimated to remain closed for one week until repairs are complete.
