New student enrollment open for 2020-21 school year

Posted

Dysart Unified School District is accepting new student enrollment applications for the 2020-2021 school year.

Parents and guardians can complete necessary registration information at dysart.org/registration. Upon completion, an appointment will be scheduled to finalize the registration.

Now through Wednesday, July 1, registration support is available at the district office by appointment only. The district office is located at 15802 N. Parkview Place in Surprise. Call 623-876-7151 to make an appointment 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  School campuses will reopen Wednesday, July 8.

Parents interested in enrolling children in Freedom Traditional Academy or a school outside of their boundary school, are invited to complete an open enrollment application at dysart.org/oe.

Dysart also offers iSchool, a full-time tuition-free online school option for K-12 students. iSchool provides online lessons, independent activities, and virtual interaction with teachers and classmates. Students are still able to take advantage of before and after school activities at their home school, and students in grades 6-12 have the opportunity to advance at their own pace.

Interested parents and students are invited to participate in a Virtual Facebook Live Parent Meeting 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 16 at Facebook.com/DysartUSD to learn more and get questions answered. Parents can indicate their interest in iSchool during the online registration process and will be contacted for further details.

Parents can sign up for the Parent Portal at dysart.org/parentportal or via the Campus Parent app, available as early as 24 hours after registration is finalized.

For assistance with student registration, please call 623-876-7151 or email SISTeam@dysart.org.

In order to finalize registration the following documents will be required: a government issued photo identification; birth certificate; proof of residency; and immunization records.
