New scholarship for Imagine Prep honors Hulstrom

Mr. Thomas “Tim” Hulstrom’s (June 18, 1942–Sept. 22, 2020) educational career spanned more than 55 years in Michigan and Arizona.
His experiences span across the K-12 system and include teaching, coaching and administrating.
As a founding faculty member of Imagine Prep Surprise, Mr. Hulstrom’s influence will forever live on in the hearts and minds of his students and colleagues as well as the traditions he has helped to establish at Imagine Prep Surprise.
Imagine Prep has introduced the Thomas “Tim” Hulstrom Memorial Scholarship.
Donations are being accepted for the scholarship. Those interested in donating can do so at this site.
Students may begin applying in January. Eligibility requirements include:
Must have attended Imagine Prep High School all four years.
Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Must have documented participation in student government, community service clubs/organizations, or outside volunteer hours.
Must write 500-word written essay explaining the importance of community.
Applications are due March 5. The application review process will continue into April with recognition and award announcement April 5.
