More Surprise students earn dean's list spots

The following local students recently earned academic honors in college:
• Veronica Medina has been named to the dean’s list at the University of New Hampshire for earning highest honors for the fall 2021 semester. Medina is majoring in veterinary technology. • Jason Kulfan was named to the Champlain College trustees’ list for the fall 2021 semester. Champlain College is a small, notfor- profit, private college in Burlington, Vt.
• Lindsay Ryan Birge has been named to the deans’ list at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln for the fall semester of the 2021-22 academic year. Birge, a senior majoring in biological sciences, was named to the dean’s list for the College of Arts and Sciences. • Anna Myers was named to the fall 2021 president’s list at the University of Central Arkansas. Myers was among more than 1,200 students named a presidential scholar. To qualify, a student must earn a 4.0 GPA on a minimum of 12 hours of undergraduate degree credit with no incomplete grades. • Ohio University Honors Tutorial College student Caden Potter of Surprise has been named to the university’s fall 2021 dean’s list. More than 5,000 students qualified for the fall semester 2021 dean’s list at Ohio University, including the main campus in Oxford and regional campuses.
