MLB releases 2023 spring schedule for Surprise

Games at Surprise Stadium run Feb. 24-March 25

Major League Baseball has released the 2023 Cactus League spring training schedule, including the home slate for the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers at Surprise Stadium.

Opening Day in Surprise is set for Friday, Feb. 24 with the Royals taking on the Rangers.

Surprise Stadium will host 30 games this season, including matchups against every team in the Cactus League.

Additionally, Surprise Stadium has been selected to host a World Baseball Classic exhibition game between the Royals and a WBC qualifying team as it prepares for the upcoming spring tournament. The Kansas City Royals opponent will be determined at a later date.

Group tickets, season tickets and mini-plan packages for will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25. Each ticket option will offer unique perks, savings over the individual game ticket price, choice of the best available seating locations and exclusive access to presale opportunities.
