Millie was born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on May 17th, 1916 to Daniel Walter Trout and Margaret Maclwee Trout.
In 1920, her father died in the Spanish flu epidemic and several years later her mother married Frank Morgan and they moved to Philadelphia. Millie graduated from West Philadelphia High School and then went to work for the Westinghouse Corporation.

She then volunteered at Boswell Hospital for many years in several departments and at one time was in charge of the Vial of Life program that was started at that location.
After the death of Ted in 1992, she continued to volunteer until 2010, played cards regularly with her friends and took several trips to California and other locations.
In 2017, she sold her home and moved to Sun Valley Lodge where she met many new friends and engaged in their activities.
In 2020, she contracted Covid 19 but recovered well and was able to resume her activities at the Lodge. In 2021, she fell ill with congestive heart failure and was not able to recover. She is survived by her daughter Jane Freas, grandsons Wes and Eric Freas and great grandsons Weston, Carter, and Crosby Freas.
