Letters: Taxpayers shelling out a lot for Bell Road

I suppose doing a facelift to Bell Road‘s center islands makes sense because of the overpopulation of Surprise and how much time you spend staring at palm trees stuck in traffic.

It’ll be so much more fun to look at new trees, new grass, etc. and $6 million of taxpayers money out the window.
