DUSD Override

Letters: Realtor firmly voting ‘yes’ on DUSD override

Posted

As a realtor serving the West Valley, I am often asked by my clients “where are the best schools?”

I always feel confident saying Dysart Unified School District because it truly is the best district in the West Valley. I know the value good schools have on the continual improvement in our property values and each year, we have seen those values rise.

I also feel good encouraging people to purchase a home in the Dysart district because 100% of the money from the override supports classrooms, teacher pay and keeping class sizes low.

The diversified learning opportunities throughout the district are second to none. This is a great selling point to potential homebuyers.

A “yes” vote would extend the tax first put in place in 2006, so it won’t change the property taxes being paid now. Investing in our schools benefits so many aspects of a community. It fosters safer communities, brings jobs to the area, and ensures that our community ties grow strong.

I am proud not only to serve this community but to live here as well. Join my wife and I in voting “yes” for Dysart.
