Letters: Hastings is setting himself apart from pack

I am a current resident of District 5 in Surprise.

I am throwing my support behind Jack Hastings for City Council. I started following him on social media and then I had the pleasure of meeting with him.

He is a caring young man who really does have the best interests for our great city. As I have read through the Q&A of Surprise election most of the challengers all say the same thing.

We need to stop letting Surprise pass up opportunities of tax dollars and not become a sleepy bedroom community that cannot afford amenities. We need jobs to keep our residents here and not driving to the city just to make ends meet. 

Let’s show the valley that Surprise is still here. Vote Jack Hastings.
