Letters: Dr. Fountain should be councilman for District 2

I would like to offer my endorsement for representative of our Surprise City Council District 2 — Dr. Wendell Fountain.
I have known Dr. Fountain for several years, and can think of no one better suited to represent our district.
During these challenging times, as the city of Surprise faces unprecedented growth, our leadership needs to be comprised of people with talent, knowledge, experience, and vision. Dr. Fountain has all that and more.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a masters degree in human resources and a doctorate in business administration.
He is president and principal consultant of Fountain and Associates, a business and management consulting firm which specializes in business strategy, human resource management and customer service training.
He also teaches graduate level courses at GCU (Grand Canyon University), which keeps him current in all local, state , and national issues.
Dr. Fountain has a sound working relationship with current leaders in Surprise. He agrees, in most part, with their vision of the future, and will compliment the existing council members and mayor.
I offer my full endorsement of Dr. Fountain for the position he seeks.
