Surprise debut will expand to Gold Canyon, Buckeye

National homebuilder Lennar is joing the ranks of homebuilders who are bringing something different to their products.

This time its Surprise for a multigenerational home concept in the Florida-based company's Heritage at Asante age-restricted community.

The new homes, which went on sale April 28, also will be built in Gold Canyon and Buckeye.

The building is rolling out its Next Gen home complete with a recreational vehicle garage. It's the first time the company has put this product in an age-restricted community officials said.

“We’re not aware of any active adult communities that have a Next Gen/RV home,” said Alan Jones, division president for Lennar. “We believe we are the first builder in the Valley to open this exclusive home offering in Arizona. We had so many clients ask our sales agents for a multi-generational home with an RV garage, that we had to create it.”

Lennar's Next Gen homes feature a range of amenities, from separate living quarters to the RV garage. In Surprise, Lennar will offer three plans ranging from 2,200 to 2,500 square feet with prices starting in the high $400,000s.
