IRIS USA comes through for Dysart district

IRIS USA President Hiroyuki ‘Doc’ Takahashi, presented Dysart Unified School District director of career and technical education Jim Grieshaber  10 boxes of personal protective equipment outside the IRIS USA building June 26.

IRIS donated 11,000 surgical masks manufactured by the company to the district to help officials meet their demand for personal protective equipment this upcoming school year.

DUSD is a community of nearly 24,000 pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade students in the northwest Phoenix metropolitan area.

The district encompasses 140 square miles, serving parts of Surprise, El Mirage, Glendale, Youngtown and Maricopa County.

The district is home to 20 K-8 schools, four high schools, a preschool and one alternative program.
