Benevilla, 16752 N. Greasewood St., Surprise, presents an interactive workshop for seniors entitled “Independent at Home” 1:30-3 p.m. Thursday, May 14 to explore personal care services and community resources available for older adults finding it increasingly difficult to enjoy an active social lifestyle.

The live tele-conference will be hosted by experts Presley Reader from ComForCare Home Care and Tony Biancardi from NeighborCare Services.

In order to reduce the risk of public exposure, Benevilla has chosen to convert its education workshops into live stream, online video events. Benevilla will use the Zoom audio/video conference platform to host these live presentations.

Benevilla will continue, for the near future, using the online format for the workshops. Upcoming workshops will cover a broad range of important topics from in-home care management and hospice to estate preparation and tax savings tips. Speakers are carefully selected professionals who can answer questions and provide guidance and needed resources to prepare for senior life changes especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Reservations required. Those registered will be provided a secure link and password to attend via Zoom.

Call 623-584-4999 to reserve a spot.
