Imagine Rosefield principal in Surprise earns county award

Joshua Jordan, Imagine Rosefield Elementary School Principal, has received recognition from Superintendent Steve Watson as the School Leader of the Month in November.
“Everyone needs a Mr. Jordan as their leader! Thank you for everything you do in and outside of the classroom. Your teachers appreciate you,” a release from the county superintenden’t office read.
Teachers, staff, students and parents would agree.
The nominator, a teacher at the school, wrote that “Mr. Jordan has been a guiding light on our campus through all of the uncertainties we have faced over the past two years during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is patient, and thoughtfully explains all of the changes that have had to take place in the school community as a result of the pandemic.
Principal Jordan leads by example and encourages teachers and students to take part in meaningful decision-making, and to grow as leaders in the classrooms and on the Imagine Rosefield campus. He listens to the concerns of the school community and inspires us to be problem-solvers.”
Watson’s office stated that this type of leadership cultivates and nurtures a supportive school environment, and is essential in keeping the school’s best teachers in the classroom.
Imagine Rosefield Elementary is at 12050 N. Bullard Ave, Surprise
