Ground Floor Artists in Surprise slates fall show

Ground Floor Artists, a collaborative hub encouraging professional development in the West Valley area, presents a themed fall kick-off show called “Onward and Upward.”

This theme speaks to how individuals let their mind leave stress behind and focus on positive things moving onward and upward.

This is a juried show and is open to artists in the United States. The guest curator chose art in any medium that best reflects the theme. Artwork chosen range from landscapes, abstracts and paintings of individuals finally getting to meet their loved ones in person again after America’s COVID 19 lock-down.

Meet the artists at a reception 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. Admission is free and there will be light refreshments.

The “Onward and Upwards” show can be seen 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.

Ground Floor Artists also has a gift shop with one-of-a-kind artwork and jewelry.

Ground Floor Artists is located at 13343 W. Foxfire Drive, Suite 3, in Surprise.

Visitgroundfloorartists.com to register for a variety of art classes for beginning to the more experienced ranging from painting, mixed media, clay and jewelry making. There are also children’s art classes and holiday camps taught by Sheree Ochoa of Inspiring Young Artists.
