Supporting a hundred-year track record of supporting youth and education programs, Cox has announced the awarding of $35,000 for 10 Cox Diversity Scholarships to Valley high school students, that will support their future education after graduation.
The 2021 Cox Diversity Scholars have identified a wide variety of future professions such as pediatric surgeon, teacher, news producer, orthodontist, marine biologist, biomedical engineer and lawyer. Each of the Cox Diversity Scholars will receive $3,500 from Cox.
“At Cox, diversity, inclusion and equity are interwoven in our core values and part of what makes our company special. These unique perspectives enable our employees, our customers, and our communities to be themselves and connect as part of a thriving culture. These Diversity Scholarships are a natural extension of how Cox continues to bring us together and we are very proud of these students,” said Susan Anable, Vice President of Public and Government Affairs, Cox Southwest Region.
