The Dysart Education Foundation will host the annual Dysart Dash 5K and Kids Challenge virtually this year.

The virtual race will take place Oct. 26 through Nov. 30, and participants can choose to walk, run, bike or hike.

This annual fundraiser supports DEF’s efforts to provide teacher mini-grants and college scholarships for Dysart Unified School District teachers and students. This year’s sponsors include McCarthy Building Com-panies, Saguaro Screen Printing, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Total Dental Administrators, and Delta Dental of Arizona.

Participants may sign up by visiting Dysart.org/DysartDash. There is a $30 registration fee in order to par-ticipate and receive a tech shirt, performance mask, finisher medal and digital race bib.

Paid participants should sign up by Nov. 1 to ensure receipt of materials. There are also no-cost options to participate.

The Dysart Education Foundation is composed of volunteers who are passionate about supporting educa-tion in the community.

The foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to raising funds for the pur-pose of enriching student learning in the Dysart Unified School District and supporting continued education for high school graduates.
