The Kachina Kennel Club will host the Copper Classic Dog Show 8 a.m.-5 p.m. both days Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 25-26 at Mark Coronado Park, 15960 N. Bullard Ave., Surprise.

Admission is free, and there will be many events for spectators to watch: all breed conformation, obedience, rally, agility, dock diving and Fast CATs.

Dogs that are not entered in any of the events are asked to remain at home.

The location features eight acres of fenced in grass, plus a smaller, perimeter field for events.

Kachina Kennel Club, the first kennel club in the West Valley, was formed in 1975 and held their first all breed show in 1978. The shows this weekend will be the club’s 68th and 69th all breed conformation shows.
