COVID outbreak closes Surprise pools

Short staffing cause of closures

Posted

A COVID-19 outbreak is forcing the indefinite closure of Surprise's two city pools.

City officials said possible coronavirus exposure has resulted in temporary staffing shortages  at both pools, the Surprise Aquatic Center and  Hollyhock Pool.

Both pools are closed  until further notice.

This closure includes open swim, swim lessons, swim team and all other aquatics programming.

All canceled classes and lessons will be refunded.

For questions or information, contact the Surprise Parks and Recreation Department at 623-222-2000.
