College students from Surprise make dean's list

The following local students recently earned academic honors in college:

  • Veronica Medina has been named to the dean’s list at the University of New Hampshire for earning highest honors for the spring 2022 semester. Medina is majoring in veterinary technology.
  • Benjamin J. Mammet, a senior majoring in computer science, made the scholastic honor roll for spring 2022 at Oregon State University.
  • Jayson Hayes, an exercise science student, earned a spot on the dean’s list at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
  • Lindsay Ryan Birge has been named to the deans’ list at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring 2022 semester. Birge, a senior majoring in biological sciences, was named to the dean’s list for the College of Arts and Sciences.
