The Benevilla Family Resource Center and these free events are funded through “First Things First” a state-wide organization utilizing money collected from the tax on the sale of tobacco products to fund early education programs. The FRC Kinship Support Coordination Program offers individual support with its 90-day, in-home (or safe place) visitation program.
Benevilla will work with Grandfamilies facing challenges with meeting their needs or accessing services through case management and family strengthening strategies. There are monthly support groups and educational programs designed to provide emotional and educational support.
The Benevilla Family Resource Center is dedicated to helping parents prepare their children (0-5 years) to start school healthy and ready to succeed. They are the family link for referrals to community services, parenting support and home visitation, parent-child classes, and application assitance (AHCCCS, SNAP, TANF.)
