I am a member of the Sun City West PRIDES team and really enjoy working every Saturday morning assisting in the trimming and clean up of the main thoroughfares through Sun City West.
What I don’t enjoy is picking up the numerous cigarette butts that have been thrown along the roads and in the bushes. How difficult is it to collect your used cigarettes and deposit them at home. Aside from violating littering laws, especially at this time, picking up someone else’ cigarette waste is unhealthy.
This message is particularly addressed to the person who appears to smoke camels at the corner of Deer Valley and Veterans drives where last Saturday I picked up at least two packs worth of butts, 90% of which were Camels.
Please be considerate and take your butts home. Thank you.
