The Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary and Cremation Center, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd., honors any attending United States veteran with coffee and donuts 9 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.

On May 10, Sun City Daughters of the American Revolution Agua Fria Chapter members Linda Lundberg, Chapter Historian, Kathie Mittelsteadt, Chapter Parliamentarian, and Shirley Staggs, Honorary Chapter Regent, presented 50th Commemoration Vietnam War era lapel pin packets to Charles “Chuck” Wittreick, retired US Air Force (1962-1982), and Brian Racine, US Navy Active Reserves (1967-1970).

The Sun City NSDAR chapter has become a Commemorative Partner with the U.S. Department of Defense, which provides the veteran pin packets for presentation. Any organization may join the Commemoration Partners Program by visitingVietnamWar50th.com.

Visit the Agua Fria Chapter “Thank You Vietnam Veterans” page at aguafriaarizonadar.weebly.com.

Also, Rick Kreiberg, Founder and Executive Director of Veterans Affinity and Retired Command Sergeant Major US Army, presented the Vietnam veteran commemorative lapel pin to Larry Delong, US Army Vietnam veteran.

Kreiberg’s mission is to ensure every veteran gets the care they need and the benefits they have earned. He can be reached at veteransaffinity.org.
