Sun City West Posse wants toys
For annual Aguila drive
Posted
By Jan Vejraska - Sun City West Posse
The Sun City West Posses are always appealing to the residents for volunteers to assist in their daily duties on the streets of the community.
But Posse members are now asking our residents to help in their annual toy drive for the children in Aguila, a small community in Maricopa County approximately 60 miles northwest of Sun City West and is in an economically depressed area.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies from District 3 who service the community, along with the Sun City West Posses, always contribute in their efforts to provide holiday gifts for the children in Aguila.
The Posse will have a Chrismas tree in the lobby at the Sun City West Posse headquarters, 20450 N. Stardust Blvd., for residents to drop off donated toys and other gifts. Posse members are hoping they will be able to supply the children at Aguila with a truckload of toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals and more.
