Sun Cities COVID case increase continues to be minimal

ADHS website shows no new vaccinations for week

The Arizona Department of Health Services reported the overall number of Sun Cities COVID-19 cases at 6,051 on July 16. That's an increase of less than 1% over the last two weeks (6,014). Breaking it down by ZIP code, there were 2,385 in Sun City’s 85351 code and 1,717 in Sun City’s 85373 code, which includes areas of Peoria and Surprise. Sun City West’s 85375 ZIP code had 1,949 cases. These are cumulative case counts and do not reflect those who have recovered.

Here are the number of COVID-19 cases for ZIP codes that include the Sun Cities and some surrounding areas, according to the ADHS. ADHS officials said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:
