The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) is notifying the public of the Draft MOMENTUM 2050 MAG Regional Transportation Plan, Draft FY 2022-2025 MAG Transportation Improvement Program, and Draft MAG Conformity Analysis for review and comment. These draft documents are available for public review and comment on the MAG website at: https://azmag.gov/Newsroom/Public-Notices.
The draft documents include the: MOMENTUM 2050 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), which describes the regional transportation investment strategy planned through 2050; FY 2022-2025 MAG Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), which is a detailed listing of projects in the region for the upcoming four-year period; and MAG Conformity Analysis, which includes a regional emissions analysis to support a finding that the RTP and TIP meet transportation conformity requirements for carbon monoxide, eight-hour ozone, and particulate matter PM-10 in the Maricopa nonattainment and maintenance areas, and PM-10 and PM-2.5 in the Pinal County nonattainment areas.
Public comments on the draft documents may be submitted in writing to Marcy McMacken, MAG, 302 N. First Avenue, Suite 300 by 5:00 p.m. October 13. Comments may also be submitted online by visiting www.azmag.gov/comment.
Special accommodations for reviewing the draft documents may be made by contacting Marcy McMacken, 602-254-6300.
