Professional background highlights: Being a part of a team that saves trees. Although a small part of all that we do, it makes my heart very happy being able to learn the knowledge from the arborists about the process and seeing the beautiful trees come back to life.
What I do: I am an office manager at AZ Tree & Hardscape Co.
What I like most about doing business here: I love the people I get to encounter every day. From my boss to the crew, to the customers. A lot of us share the same kind of love for our Mother Nature. I absolutely love being a part of a team that cares so much for each individual tree and plant, and work hard to keep our community clean and thriving.
Previous occupation and why I left: I worked at a car parts store. Unfortunately, my store closed due to COVID and my manager, at the time, recommended me to AZ Tree & Hardscape Co.’s owner. Although I came in with zero experience in the tree care field, Juan was willing to give me a chance and it has been an incredible learning experience so far!
Changes I’d like to see in this area: More love and opportunities for small, local businesses!
What am I promoting: I am promoting the wonderful company that is AZ Tree & Hardscape Co. Incredible arborists, people that truly care for your trees as well as our awesome hardscape crew that can turn your dull yard into a beautiful oasis!
What I’m excited about and why: I am excited for AZ Tree & Hardscape Co. to continue growing in the community, more trees to receive proper treatment (we all know in Arizona, they really need it!) and see more nature in the Valley!
When I started my business/employment here: My 2-year anniversary with the company will be this fall!
Where I came from and why I left: I come from a small European country — Lithuania. My family made the decision to move to the United States when I was in high school for better education opportunities.
My guiding philosophy: By grace, through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
My advice to today’s youth: Never give up on your dreams or yourself. If you are willing to work for it, it will come true.
