The Sun City West Republican Club meets 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 in the Webb Room of the Sun City West Foundation, 14465 R.H. Johnson Blvd.

A $2 donation is requested, which helps defray the cost of  the room rental. There will be coffee and donuts available.

Club members are abiding by the CDC Covid 19 restrictions and will be limiting attendance to 71. To register for this meeting, call Ellie Thornton at 623-337-7534. This will be the last time meetings will be held at the Foundation.

Guest speaker is club vice-president Jean McGrath, who is also a current board member of the Maricopa County Community College District. She is a former member of the Arizona House of Representatives and served on the board of Central Arizona Project. She is a lifelong fighter for reducing the cost of government. Ms. McGrath’s motto is “Less government, more individual responsibility and with God’s help a better world.” She will be informing members about how various forms of government work and how they spend tax money.
