‘Neighbors Helping’ Neighbors’ supports community needs
Options available during public health crisis

The city of Surprise has launched a “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” campaign while asking residents to donate critical items during this time of need in the COVID-19 pandemic precautions.
The following items are in need:
Baby formula
Diapers (all sizes, including adult)
Toilet paper
Baby wipes
Soap
Feminine hygiene products
Gloves
Canned meat
The items can be dropped off into bins outside of these Surprise locations:
Salvation Army Sun Cities West Valley Corps, 17420 Ave of the Arts; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday; 623-977-1084
Radiant Church, 15522 W. Paradise Lane; 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 623-975-2662
Surprise Senior Center, 15832 N. Hollyhock St.; 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday; 623-222-1500
All other food donations can be directed to Valley View Food Bank (10771 W. Peoria Ave., Sun City; www.feedingaz.org; 623-933-3358) or St. Mary’s Food Bank (2831 N. 31st Ave., Phoenix; www.firstfoodbank.org; 602-242-3663).
Residents in need of the specific items listed above, call in advance to check on stock. Contact the Salvation Army at 623-977-1084, Radiant Church at 623-975-2662, or the Surprise Resource Center at 623-222-1600 or 12425 W. Bell Road, Building A, Suite No. 124.
Donations shared on a first come, first served basis.
