JDog gets rid of pesky junk

Business Name: JDog Junk Removal & Hauling; 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, weekends by appointment; jgornick@jdog.com, 9602-786-8686 ext. 1 direct office.

Town/neighborhood: Valleywide.

Professional background highlights: We are all lifelong entrepreneurs. Jim, a custom home builder, Juliann, a small business accounting advisor and Justin, a master plumber.

What we do: JDog Junk Removal & Hauling offers reliable cleanout and hauling services for residential and commercial customers. Fully insured, American and veteran owned and operated by local entrepreneurs in Arizona. We ensure our services are delivered the military way — with respect, integrity and trust.

What we like most about doing business here: We are all born and raised in small towns. The areas of Cave Creek and Sun City are welcoming and diverse communities. They exhibit a “small-town feel,” yet they are only a stone’s throw away from the city. The residents here extend the welcome mat like no other, by supporting local businesses, causes and just making you feel like you’re at home!

What we are promoting: 20% off first load, 10% veteran discount, net 30-day commercial accounts, Wednesday Dogs4vets.org offers 10% donation for every job completed on Wednesdays to support Dogs4Vets in Chandler.

Favorite community cause and why: Dogs4Vets.org. Support disabled Veterans by contributing to the training program of the American Service Animal Society, providing service animals to disabled veterans. The gift of independence, trust and companionship to men and women injured while serving their country.

When and why we started business/employment here: January 2022, after a lifetime in Colorado, we are looking forward to warmer winters in Arizona.

What are we doing when we’re not in Arizona working JDog: We travel back and forth from Colorado still working businesses in both states. We enjoy the outdoor lifestyle in both states.

My (Juliann) family: Joseph and Joyce Gornick, dad and mom, Colorado natives; Jim Gornick, brother/business partner; Justin Boucher, husband/business partner; and, of course, Maverick, cutest dog ever! But I might be biased!

My interests and hobbies: Enjoy the sunshine, love to spend time with Maverick, not the Top Gun pilot but our 6-pound parti-yorkie and JDog mascot!

My guiding philosophy: Live your life deliberately. You only have one life, so live a life you will remember.

My advice to today’s youth: Whatever you do, give it 110%.

JDog, rid, pesky, junk
