Several members of the Idaho State Club met to play golf in Sun City West. The ladies, Peggy Weigand, Jolene Johnstun, Joyce Bowlby and Karen Ferguson, played together at Echo Mesa while the male members, John Weigand, Bob Bowlby and Joel Johnstun, played at Pebble Brook golf course.
Usually, the club holds a tournament this time of year, but activities for the club have mostly been on hold during the pandemic. Members look forward to re-convening next fall for monthly outings, which usually include picnics, breakfast meetings, attending a play or concert, a crab feed and a golf tournament.
Annual membership is $5 per person and is open to anyone who has ever lived in, flown over the state or eaten a potato.
