Guitar master Jesse Cook returns to the Webb Center

The Juno Award-winning guitar virtuoso Jesse Cook brings his “Tempest II Tour” to the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts, 2001 W. Wickenburg Way, Suite 3, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1.

Cook is celebrated around the world for his fusion of flamenco guitar rhythms mixed with everything from classical and jazz to blues and samba.

Based in Toronto, Cook travels the globe looking for sounds that resonate with him. His musicality and guitar prowess have resulted in 11 Juno award nominations, 10 platinum and gold studio albums and five PBS specials.

Making his fifth appearance since 2007, Cook and his all-star band will light up the Webb Center stage with their blend of sultry world beats, fun rumba rhythms and romantic melodies.

Tickets for the “Tempest II Tour” start at $47 for adults and $5 for those younger than 18. They are available at dewpac.org or by calling the box office at 928-684-6624.
