Eastman will talk secure IRAs

Gina and Friends segment July 22

Posted

In today’s economy, it is important for IRA holders to be sure their investment is secure.

Residents can join Dave Eastman, Eastman Trusts attorney, during a segment of the Sun Health feature Coffee with Gina and Friends who can help explain IRA changes. The special virtual program is scheduled 9 a.m. Thursday, July 22.

In December of 2019, Congress altered the IRA landscape yet again by passing the SECURE Act (Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement). Like all legislation, there are positives and negatives. Learn more about how these recent changes can impact estate planning, and more specifically the family.

As a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, Eastman is a frequent speaker on a variety of estate planning topics. He also is a past member of Sun Health Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Questions are welcome. This presentation is part of an educational series of get-togethers on Zoom hosted by Gina W. Ore, Sun Health Foundation chief philanthropy officer.

To RSVP and for the Zoom link, contact Joyce Wilt by Wednesday, July 21 at Joyce.Wilt@SunHealth.org or 623-471-8508.
