In response to the article about conditions at Mountain View mini golf, I was under the impression that our yearly recreation fees that are paid are supposed to be for maintaining our facilities.

Depasquale: Why is center not getting attention?

That is what we have been told when we renewed our yearly pass. So why aren’t our fees being used for repairs at Mountain View. Other recreation centers are getting theirs fixed.

I am sure the response will be that the center will be replaced by a new one eventually. But that would take years to complete if it even happens. I have been hearing this for years. So I guess people that use Mountain View Center will have to deal with continuous issues, like broken spa, mini golf and whatever else arrives in the future.

It’s unfortunate that I will have to take my visitors to another center because the one closest to me is not repaired.
