Burns: Restrictions have been ignored

In a guest commentary (“The larger promise of new vaccine tech,” Sun City Independent, May 19, 2021) Saul Anuzis wrote, “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently announced that fully vaccinated Americans can gather indoors with friends and family -- without wearing masks for social distancing.”

On which planet has Mr. Anuzis been living? The horses have been ignoring these timid restrictions and are long gone from the barn!
