Briarwood Country Club, 20800 N. 135th Ave., has a new head golf pro and an assistant.
Chris Olseth is the new head pro and Brian Turczyn is the assistant pro.
Olseth comes from the Northland Country Club in Duluth, Minnesota. He brings a wealth of solid work experiences to Briarwood. He has also worked at Olympia Fields Country Club in Chicago as well as the Thunderbird Country Club and Mission Hills Country Club in Palm Springs.
Turczyn is a Peoria native and comes from The Legend at Arrowhead Golf Course in Glendale. He attended Scottsdale Community College where he played baseball but was introduced to golf at an early age by his grandparents.
