Boomers enjoy ‘50s dance

The Boomers’ “Welcome Back ‘50s” dance Oct. 3 was a huge success.

Members dressed in ‘50s attire, like poodle skirts, saddle shoes, bobby socks and so on, danced to hits like “Shaboom,” “Earth Angel,” “The Tennesse Waltz” and “The Twist.”

The male Come Back Buddy band members were dressed in “white sport coats with pink carnations,” just like the song, and their female vocalist wore a short, full skirt puffed out with a large crinoline that flared around her as she moved to the music.
