Bringing Blues and ‘60s rock to the West Valley one song at a time, West of the Blues is a seven-piece band features alto and baritone sax, harmonica, bass, guitar, percussion and vocals. They specialize in tunes by Buddy Guy, Albert and BB King, Willie Dixon, Santana, Eric Clapton and others.
Upcoming shows include 5-8 p.m. Dec. 30, Feb. 24 and March 3 at Lizard Acres Pub, Sun City West, bowling alley; 8-11 p.m. Jan. 6 and Feb. 6 at Irish Wolfhound Pub; 11 p.m.-midnight Jan. 11 at Kuentz Rec Center courtyard, Sun City West; 5-8 p.m. Jan. 18 and 28 and Feb. 22 at Chicken Ranch Restaurant; and 5-8 p.m. Feb. 17 at Indigo Grill, Sun City Festival.
