Tai Chi Club slates open house, notes class offerings

The Sun City Tai Chi Club is hosting an open house 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, at the Sundial Recreation Center, East Hall, 14801 N. 103rd Ave.

Watch live demonstrations of classes including; Tai Chi Yang Style 108 Beginner to Advanced, QiGong, 5 Form Tai Chi Essentials and Balance and Basics. Learn about the different styles and meet the instructors, try a few moves, enjoy some complimentary refreshments and maybe win a prize. This event is open to all RCSC cardholders and escorted guests.
Details about this event will be posted in early June at sctai.wixsite.com/sc-tai-chi-club.

The Tai Chi Intermediate Set 11 108 Yang Style is also back in full swing. Patrick Hesselmann welcomes the new Advanced Beginner graduates.

Those who wish to improve their golf, pickleball or tennis abilities and join in doctor, chiropractic or physical therapist recommended classes to help reach their goals.
No special equipment is required. Wear comfortable clothes and soft soled shoes like tennis/athletic shoes. Classes are $3 for RCSC cardholders and $5.50 for escorted guests. Yearly membership is $10.

The class schedule includes: Bell Center, SH2, Thursdays: Balance & Basics, 9:30 a.m., Beginner Tai Chi 1 Set 108, 10:45 a.m., Advanced Beginner Tai Chi Set 108, noon, Advanced Tai Chi 111 Set 108, 1:15 p.m., Intermediate Tai Chi Set 108, 2:30 p.m.; Fairway Center Room 3: Tuesdays: 5 Form Tai Chi Essentials, 10:15 a.m.; and Lakeview Center SH3 Tuesdays: Qigong, 6 p.m.
