Spinka: Sun City reader did speak to driveway musical performers

I must respond to Mr. Broyles’ remarks (“Speak with those doing concerts first,” Sun City Independent, Jan. 6, 2021). I feel that they are degrading and insulting.
Of course, I spoke directly to the entertainers and the homeowner on a couple of occasions without much sympathy or reduction in volume.
I don’t think many residents know of the code, which is why I asked that it be printed.
I’m not trying to put a damper on those who want either to play or to listen to it, but when an audience is sitting either in the driveway or on the homeowner’s lawn, I don’t think that those of us who don’t want to be subjected to their music should have to endure it from several blocks away.
