All events above are open to the public without a cover charge or advance tickets.

In addition, Sun City West Zymurgy Club members and guests will have the opportunity to dance to SBR at their clubhouse 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, while Sun City West Music Club members and their guests can also enjoy Sonoran Blues Rock in a concert setting at the Stardust Theater in Sun City West, 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9. Sun City West residents should contact these clubs directly for ticketing and admission details.

Sonoran Blues Rock performs the music of Albert King, Little Walter, Muddy Waters, Etta James, Spencer Davis, Rufus Thomas, Robert Johnson, Elvin Bishop and J.J. Cale. Their ever-expanding repertoire also includes songs by The Allman Brothers Band, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin, Dave Mason, Rolling Stones, The Doobie Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band, Linda Ronstadt, Sam Cooke and Wilson Pickett, just to name a few.

Walter Erla founded Sonoran Blues Rock in 2017. In addition to his lead guitar and vocals, Erla is joined by Christine Novello (vocals and percussion), Frank Tortorici (drums), Bill Wallace (bass and vocals) and Jay Lannon (guitar). Together, this core SBR lineup brings more than 200 years of professional performing experience to the stage. During October and November, they will be joined by a few special guests who will sit in for a song or two - or even an entire event.
