There appears to be more than a matter of opinion concerning the flag issue where the number of flags on a single standard is concerned.
David Broyles (“Give them an inch, they want mile,” Sun City Independent, April 20, 2022) stated that more than one flag on a standard can get out of hand. One only needs to review what proper etiquette is where flags are involved.
In reality, a pole can only hold a number of flags. When is the last time anyone has viewed every branch of the service flown under the American flag? The original post stated the woman requested only one additional flag and that being a military one.
A review of the HOA laws should reflect what the norm is and not a person’s opinion.
