More veterans honored at Sunland

Honorary Sun City Agua Fria NSDAR Chapter Regent Shirley Staggs, Chapter Daughter Debbie Schneider and Parliamentarian Kathie Mittelsteadt presented six 50th commemorative Vietnam War era veteran pins to veterans who served in any branch of the United States military between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975 anywhere in the world.
At 9 a.m. every second Tuesday, free coffee and donuts are served to any veteran who attends the Sun City Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd. On Oct. 11, they were also treated to breakfast along with the coffee and donuts.
