“Broadcast 4 Murder,” the seventh cozy mystery novel in J.C. Eaton’s Sophie Kimball Mysteries, is set for release Oct. 27. The novel takes place at KSCW in Sun City West, and the venues surrounding it.

When Sophie (Phee’s) mother Harriet gets a chance to host her own radio talk show on local station KSCW, she and friend Myrna discover the body of the radio station’s manager in the storage closet. The number one suspect is the manager’s ex-girlfriend but the finger prints on the murder weapon match those of a woman who has been dead for decades. With the whole city on pins and needles, Phee has little choice but to sink her sleuthing skills into this murder mystery.

Authors Ann I. Goldfarb and James E. Clapp, writing as J.C. Eaton, are residents of Sun City West and members of both dog park clubs where they get their plot ideas.

The book is published by Kensington Publishing and is available in ebook and mass market paperback from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Bookbub, iTunes and independent booksellers. Kensington has introduced a new, larger size for its mass market books to make the readability easier with larger spines. “Broadcast 4 Murder” is one of the books to appear in this size and copies will be available at local Barnes & Noble stores in Surprise and Peoria.

J.C. Eaton’s debut cozy mystery, “Booked 4 Murder,” in the Sophie Kimball Mysteries, took first place in the New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards in the cozy mystery category.

Like all of their novels, “Broadcast 4 Murder” is meant to keep readers laughing and guessing whodunit. The authors invite readers to visit them at jceatonmysteries.com.
