“How to Live When Things Fall Apart” will be the topic of Rev. Anthony Robinson’s webinar lecture 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10. This is the inaugural lecture in the Rev. Dr. Samuel Sawitski Lecture Series established by Desert Garden UCC, 18818 N. 128th Ave., in recognition of Dr. Sawitski’s passion for teaching. He served the church for a decade prior to his death in July 2019.

Rev. Robinson will take a short break to compile questions from viewers and will then host a Q and A session until noon.

Rev. Robinson is a theologian, author and speaker, and his books include “Transforming Congregational Culture” and “What’s Theology Got to Do With: Convictions, Vitality and the Church.” He has served as visiting faculty or lecturer at several institutions including Seattle University, Princeton Seminary, Brite Divinity Schoo, and Pacific School of Religion.
