Lakeview announces annual rummage sale

Lakeview United Methodist Church, 10298 W. Thunderbird Blvd., is hosting its annual rummage sale 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 22.
There will be furniture, household items, clothing, jewelry, kitchen items, linens, books, baked goods, collectables and other items available to purchase in Smoot and fellowship halls and outside in the courtyard.
Checks will not be accepted; however, credit cards may be used on purchases over $25. A silent auction will be held with various “special” items. On Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, 13-gallon bags will be available to purchase for $5 to fill with sale items (except jewelry and other selected items).
The United Methodist Men will sponsor a cafe in the patio area outside fellowship hall that will sell lunch items and beverages 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on both days.
Proceeds from the sale will be given to 5-10 local charities.
