I read the article about coyotes in neighborhoods (“Coyotes infiltrate neighborhood,” Sun City Independent, May 26, 2021).
I live on Riverview Golf Course and yes I am at times concerned about the coyotes that come through my yard. However, in the last three weeks I’ve seen a coyote that may have mange. In the beginning there were patches of hair missing, now the tail is bare and body looks shaved.
Is this contagious to other coyotes? If so, what can be done to reduce the spread?
