Giordano heads Briarwood food service

Brings new outlook

Posted

Briarwood Country Club, 20800 N. 135th Ave., Sun City West, has a new food and beverage manager.

Gabriel Giordano comes to Briarwood with a fresh outlook for presenting members with an enhanced dining and beverage experience in a comfortable and fun social environment.

A graduate of Arizona State University, with a degree in business management/psychology, Giordano also holds certification in hotel management as well as a level one teaching certificate for golf instruction. He began his career in the East Valley at Hyatt Gainey Ranch, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and the Clubhouse Grill. He is also the owner/operator of G&G Consulting, which is a company designed to assist with  marketing strategies and operational practices for other businesses.

The family oriented lifestyle in the West Valley convinced Giordano to make the move to the Litchfield area. Giordano brings his talents and innovative ideas to Briarwood’s bar and grill and restaurant dining.

“I am excited that members are now returning for the season,” said Giordano. “I look forward to making personal connection with the membership and am excited to offer new events for everyone’s enjoyment.”

Giordano implemented a new 3-day training program for all new hires, which includes everything from food tasting in order to be more familiar with the menu items to facility tours and equipment training to improve employees’ skills for a variety of service needs.

Giordano brought back the Friday Happy Hour experience, which will give members and their guests great options for food, cocktails, beer and wine.

Giordano is looking forward to the new golf and social events season and the friendly and fun-filled community atmosphere that exists at Briarwood.
