The Benevilla “Education Event Series” continues at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 with a free, online workshop about elder law and estate planning strategies.

The topic, “Elder Law Planning” will be presented by Lora Johnson of Johnson & Associates. She will provide advice and direction on smart estate planning strategies covering wills, health care planning, guardianship and long term care arrangements.

Johnson has been practicing elder law since 2000 and opened her own practice in 2006.

This free Zoom presentation is part of the yearlong Benevilla C.A.R.E.S. Virtual “Educational Workshop” series featuring carefully selected professionals who can answer your questions and provide guidance, practical solutions, and resources you may need to prepare for senior life changes, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Benevilla will continue, for the near future, using the online Zoom format for their workshops.  Upcoming workshops cover a broad range of important topics from in-home care management and hospice to estate preparation and tax savings tips.

Reservations are required. Provide a working email address. Those who do will be provided a secure link and password as well as easy to follow instructions on how to attend via Zoom.

Call Benevilla at 623-584-4999 or visit benevilla.org/community-events/ to reserve a spot.
