Posted

The 2020 census for Sun City contains lots of interesting information. Visit worldpopulationreview.com/us-cities/sun-city-az-population.

One disturbing fact is that the number of Sun City resident living below the poverty level has increased 22% over the past 10 years! According to the 2020 census, 9.9% of Sun City’s population, or 3,750 people, are below the poverty line. In 2010 those numbers were, 8.4% and 3,150 people were below the poverty level.

The poverty level for a single person is $1,073 per month and for a two-person household, $1,452 per month.

Assisting these Sun City neighbors in need is one of the main focuses of Sun City Community Assistance Network. Sun City CAN needs and appreciates your financial donations. The agency is located at, and you can send contributions to, 10195 W. Coggins Drive, Sun City, AZ 85351.
